Experience: Prior experience in patient care/elderly care/home caregiving is mandatory
Location: Bengaluru Urban (Karnataka)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caretaker to join Prana Healthcare Enablers Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, emotional support, and daily assistance to patients/clients to ensure their well-being, safety, and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily personal care activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide mobility and physical support (help in transferring, walking, wheelchair usage).
- Administer prescribed medications (if trained/authorized).
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals in line with dietary requirements.
- Offer companionship and emotional support while engaging patients in light activities.
- Monitor and promptly report changes in health, behavior, or condition to family or healthcare staff.
- Handle light housekeeping duties related to patient care (laundry, cleanliness of patient’s room, bed making).
- Accompany patients to doctor appointments, hospitals, or errands when needed.
- Follow prescribed care plans and ensure effective communication with family members and medical staff.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Good knowledge and practical experience in caretaking and patient support.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to handle elderly and patients with special needs.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and medication handling (preferred).
- Good communication skills in Hindi/English/regional language.
- Physically fit and able to perform lifting and mobility assistance.
