Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Operator Engineer Trainee to join our team. The ideal candidate should be ITI pass (Mechanical / Electrical / relevant trade) with good knowledge of operating and maintaining mechanical equipment. Candidates must have hands-on experience in equipment operation, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance. This role is designed to provide comprehensive training and career development opportunities for individuals aspiring to grow as Operator Engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, conveyors, and utility systems.
• Perform routine checks, inspections, and preventive maintenance of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Identify and troubleshoot faults or abnormalities in machinery and promptly escalate issues to the maintenance team.
• Assist in equipment shutdowns, overhauls, and repair works.
• Record and maintain daily operational logs, maintenance reports, and performance data.
• Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality protocols.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and discipline in the operational area.
• Collaborate with maintenance, safety, and production teams for smooth workflow.
• Actively participate in training, skill development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualification & Experience

• ITI Pass (Mechanical / Electrical / Fitter / relevant trade).
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and operational procedures.
• Prior experience as an Operator / Operator Trainee will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety standards, quality systems, and equipment monitoring.
• Basic computer literacy for maintaining reports and logs.
