Trainer – Assistant Bar Bender & Steel Fixer (CON/Q0202)

Job Role Summary
The Trainer – Assistant Bar Bender & Steel Fixer (CON/Q0202) will be responsible for delivering high-quality training in line with the Sector Skill Council’s curriculum and NSQF standards. The trainer will guide, mentor, and assess candidates to ensure they acquire the required technical, safety, and employability skills for the construction industry. The role involves counselling candidates, delivering theory and practical sessions, preparing them for assessments, ensuring high certification results, and motivating them for successful placements.

- Must be TOT (Training of Trainers) Certified by the respective Sector Skill Council (SSC).

- Trainer must score 80% in each NOS and overall, 80% pass in trainer certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Counselling the candidates on training, career opportunities, and industry needs.
- Delivering training sessions (theory + practical) as per SSC-approved CON/Q0202 curriculum.
- Monitoring attendance and maintaining discipline in training.
- Preparing daily MIS reports on trainee performance and progress.
- Conducting pre-assessments to benchmark candidates’ skills.
- Preparing candidates for final assessments and certification.
- Motivating trainees to achieve good grades and supporting them in placements.
- Ensuring a minimum 95% result success rate in certification.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of reinforcement bar cutting, bending, tying, scaffolding, and safety practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prepare candidates for industry readiness and employability.
- Proficiency in maintaining MIS reports and assessment documentation.
- Commitment to delivering quality outcomes in training.
