Job Overview:

Portea Medical is hiring General Duty Assistants (GDAs) to provide patient care and nursing support at home. The role requires hands-on experience in patient care, including daily activities, vitals monitoring, medication assistance, and mobility support. Candidates should be compassionate, responsible, and capable of providing professional home healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vitals Monitoring: Checking pulse, blood pressure, respiration rate, and temperature.
• Personal Care: Bathing, grooming, feeding (oral and tube feeding), and attending to patient’s toilet needs.
• Medication Support: Administering medicines on time as prescribed by the doctor; mobilization with nebulizer (if required).
• Mobility Assistance: Helping patients in walking, changing position, diaper changing, and transferring from bed to wheelchair.
• Medical Assistance (if required): Assisting with catheter bag changing, cleaning, and other basic care under supervision.
• Ensure patient’s comfort, hygiene, and safety at all times.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Maintain accurate daily records and report changes in patient condition.

Eligibility & Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification: ITI Pass (Healthcare / Nursing Assistant or relevant field preferred).
• Prior experience in patient care / GDA / nursing attendant role is mandatory.
• Age: Above 19 years.
• Gender: Male / Female.
• Weight: Male candidates must weigh above 50 Kg; Female candidates above 45 Kg.
• Height: Minimum 5 feet (153 cm).
• Must possess valid ID proof (Aadhar Card, PAN Card). All documents must have the same name, father’s name, and date of birth.
• Must carry original documents (ID proof, address proof, mark sheets, and photographs).
• Ability to read and write Hindi, English, and local language.
• Willingness to travel across Delhi for patient duty.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of basic patient care and hygiene practices.
• Empathy, patience, and ability to handle elderly and bedridden patients.
• Strong observation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow medical instructions.
• Physically fit and able to manage patient mobility support.
