Job Overview:

CII Model Career Centre is seeking an experienced Picker / Packer to support warehouse and logistics operations. The role involves accurately picking, inspecting, packing, and dispatching products while ensuring order accuracy, product quality, and adherence to safety and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick items from inventory based on customer orders, verifying SKU, size, color, and quantity.
• Inspect products for damage or defects before packing.
• Pack, seal, weigh, and label shipments according to company standards.
• Use handheld scanners and warehouse software to update orders and inventory records.
• Safely operate material-handling equipment (trolleys, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Organize outgoing shipments, prepare pallets, and stage orders for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment while complying with safety protocols.
• Report inventory discrepancies, equipment issues, or quality concerns to supervisors.
• Assist in restocking shelves, performing cycle counts, and supporting warehouse maintenance.
• Suggest and implement process improvements for efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum Qualification: Graduate.
• Prior experience as a Picker / Packer / Warehouse Associate.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and packing standards.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with scanners/warehouse management systems.
• Ability to lift and move heavy packages safely.
• Good attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Team player with strong work ethic and reliability.
