About the Role
The Business Development Executive will be part of the front-line sales team, responsible for driving business growth through acquiring new customers, selling banking and third-party products, and achieving sales targets. This is a high-activity, field-based role involving regular client interaction, marketing activities, and cross-selling opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell banking and third-party financial products to new customers based on their needs.
- Conduct local marketing activities and travel to meet potential clients daily.
- Handle customer queries promptly and provide appropriate product solutions.
- Contact existing customers to encourage additional deposits and cross-sell other products.
- Achieve assigned daily, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.
- Complete all mandatory certifications (AMFI, EUIN, etc.) within stipulated timelines.
- Participate in all training and learning activities as scheduled by the company.
- Maintain accurate and timely customer interaction records in the CRM system.
- Follow all compliance, regulatory, and legislative guidelines.
- Support company-wide initiatives to enhance customer engagement and sales growth.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Graduation from a recognized institute (mandatory).
- Experience: Prior experience in business development, sales, or banking preferred; freshers may also apply.
- Language Skills: Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English and local language.
- Technical Skills: Should have a compatible Android/iOS mobile device.
- Other Requirements:
- Strong lead generation and conversion skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented with high sales orientation.
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings.
