Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Machine Operator to manage, operate, and maintain production and packaging machinery in a safe and efficient manner. The candidate should have solid technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues while ensuring quality output.
Key Responsibilities
1. Packaging Machine Operation
- Operate and maintain packaging machines for proper sealing, labeling, and packing of products according to specifications.
- Adjust machine settings for different packaging materials and formats.
- Conduct routine inspections of packaged goods to ensure quality and compliance.
2. Production Machine Operation
- Operate production machinery as per manufacturing requirements and schedules.
- Monitor machine functions and make necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
- Record production data accurately in daily logs.
3. Troubleshooting & Maintenance
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues in machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for major repairs and overhauls.
4. Quality Control
- Inspect machine output at regular intervals to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies to the supervisor.
- Maintain compliance with ISO, GMP, or other industry-specific quality norms.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of machine operations, safety protocols, and preventive maintenance.
- Proficiency in handling both packaging and production machinery.
- Technical reading skills for interpreting manuals and diagrams.
- Problem-solving skills and quick decision-making ability.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to work in shifts and under pressure.
Working Conditions
- Shift-based work (day/night as per production needs).
- Standing and operating machinery for extended periods.
