Job Summary:
Magic Bus India Foundation is seeking a passionate and skilled Soft Skills Trainer (Training Officer) to deliver high-impact sessions on life skills, employability, spoken English, digital literacy, and financial literacy to youth aged 18–25. The role also involves mentoring, career counselling, and guiding youth towards job placements or further education. This is a purpose-driven role focused on empowerment, employability, and personal transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured induction and training sessions at the Livelihood Centre
- Conduct interactive and engaging sessions on:
- Employability Skills
- Life Skills (communication, teamwork, etc.)
- Spoken English
- Digital Literacy
- Financial Literacy
- Employability Skills
- Guide youth in creating and following Personal Development Plans (PDPs)
- Conduct career counselling, individual assessments, and goal mapping
- Support placement efforts in coordination with Placement Officers and Mentors
- Plan and maintain training schedules in collaboration with the Centre Manager
- Track youth attendance, performance, and progress via regular evaluations
- Mobilize youth from communities, institutions, and outreach areas
- Facilitate Sports for Development experiential learning modules
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of training sessions and outcomes
Eligibility Criteria:
Education:
- Graduate in any discipline (mandatory)
- Diploma or certification in training, counselling, or soft skills (preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in soft skills/life skills/employability training
- Prior experience in mentoring, youth counselling, or vocational training is an added advantage
- Proficiency in using training tools, MS Office, and digital platforms for instruction
