Sodexo India Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and skilled Cook / Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about food preparation, presentation, hygiene, and capable of working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment. This role involves preparing meals in line with company standards while maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and cost efficiency.

✅ Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification:
  • 12th Pass (minimum)
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on cooking experience, preferably in a commercial or industrial kitchen

🍽️ Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and produce meals according to Sodexo’s recipes, standards, and hygiene protocols
• Maintain high standards of food presentation, portioning, and taste
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness, including equipment, floors, and utensils
• Maintain proper storage and handling of raw materials and cooked items
• Follow all safety procedures and ensure kitchen equipment is handled responsibly
• Adhere to budgetary guidelines to minimize wastage and control food costs
• Ensure personal grooming and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
• Support junior kitchen staff and ensure smooth kitchen operations

💡 Key Competencies & Skills:

• Proven ability in bulk cooking and high-volume food production
• Experience in menu planning, meal prep, and portion control
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards (FSSAI preferred)
• Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail, cleanliness, and presentation
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic knowledge of kitchen inventory and cost control
