📠Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and technically competent Production Supervisor to manage operations in a fully automated injection Moulding factory setup. The role involves overseeing high-speed IMM machines (Toyo, Prikan) and robotic systems (DEPL), ensuring smooth production flow, managing packing operations, and maintaining coordination with service teams and suppliers.
âš™ï¸ Factory Setup Overview:
Injection Moulding Machines (IMM):
- ðŸ—ï¸ Toyo (Japan): Fully Electric IMM – 180 Tonne Clamping Force
- ðŸ—ï¸ Prikan (India): High-Speed Hydraulic IMM – 110 Tonne Clamping Force
Robotic Systems (DEPL):
- 🤖 Side Entry Robot – Label Placement & Part Pickup
- 🤖 Top Entry Robot – Label Placement & Part Pickup
All machines operate at high speed with 100% automation. Human intervention is limited to packing operations.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- 🔠Operate and monitor IMM machines and robotic units – including start/stop functions as required.
- 🧑🫠Train and mentor junior staff to independently handle basic machine/robot operations.
- 📦 Supervise and coordinate with packing teams to match production speed and quality standards.
- 🧑🔧 Troubleshoot minor production issues and escalate technical problems to relevant teams without delay.
- 📞 Coordinate with machine service teams and external vendors to ensure timely maintenance and material procurement.
- ðŸ—‚ï¸ Maintain records of daily production, downtimes, packing output, and shift performance.
- ðŸ‘·â™‚ï¸ Enforce safety, cleanliness, and 5S practices on the production floor.
- 📈 Assist in improving productivity, reducing waste, and ensuring product quality compliance.
✅ Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in plastics, moulding, or automated factory setups
- Hands-on experience with IMM operations and basic robotic system knowledge
- Strong team management, coordination, and communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, shift-based production environments
- Knowledge of safety, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting
