Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day production activities. The ideal candidate will lead a team of production staff, ensuring that manufacturing operations are efficient, safe, and aligned with quality standards and production targets. This role is critical in driving productivity, maintaining discipline on the shop floor, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee Daily Operations:
   Supervise daily production processes to ensure timely completion of schedules and targets.
2. Quality Control:
   Maintain strict adherence to quality standards to meet both customer specifications and internal benchmarks.
3. Team Supervision and Training:
   Lead, guide, and train production workers; foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
4. Safety & Compliance:
   Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with organizational and legal regulations.
5. Inventory Coordination:
   Monitor raw material inventory and coordinate with procurement or stores to avoid shortages and delays.
6. Process Improvement:
   Identify and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste or downtime.
7. Reporting & Documentation:
   Maintain accurate records of production output, workforce performance, machine efficiency, and downtime.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / Graduate in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing/production environment
• Skills Required:
  • Strong leadership and team management
  • Understanding of production planning and control
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with safety and compliance standards
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/MIS systems (preferred)
