Jobs Description
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse tasks including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate inventory control, timely order fulfillment, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick, pack, and label orders for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks (if certified).
- Perform cycle counts and assist with regular inventory audits.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of inventory items.
- Comply with company safety procedures and standards.
- Assist with returns processing and restocking of items.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding order statuses and issues.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or scanning devices to update inventory records.
