The Assistant Shuttering Carpenter supports the main shuttering carpenter in assembling and dismantling formwork used for concrete structures in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. The role requires hands-on work at construction sites, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timeliness in setting up shuttering/formwork to support slab, column, beam, and other concrete elements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in reading and interpreting civil/structural drawings to understand shuttering layout and dimensions.
• Install and dismantle formwork using appropriate tools and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with reinforcement fitters and concrete workers to ensure proper sequencing and alignment.
• Apply release agents, check shuttering alignment, and ensure tightness to prevent concrete leakage.
• Handle carpentry tools, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure work complies with construction codes and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas and tools.
• Report daily progress and any anomalies to supervisors.

Educational Qualifications

1. BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Construction Engineering with minimum 1 year of relevant experience
2. Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
3. 12th Grade Pass with minimum 3 years of experience in shuttering carpentry work, preferably NSQF Level 4 certified Reinforcement Fitter

Education Level : Bachelor's Degree

Technical Education : BE/B.Tech, Diploma

Certificate : TOT Certified in Assistant Shuttering Carpenter

Industrial Certificate : Experience
