The Assistant Bar Bender & Steel Fixer will assist in preparing, cutting, bending, fixing, and placing steel reinforcement in concrete structures as per design and technical drawings. The role ensures quality, precision, and safety in execution, contributing to the durability and strength of civil constructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study and interpret structural drawings and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
• Measure, cut, shape, and bend reinforcement bars or mesh to required dimensions.
• Tie reinforcement steel using wire and appropriate tools as per instructions.
• Assist in positioning and securing reinforcement in formwork before concreting.
• Use hand tools and power tools such as bar bending machines, cutting machines, and tying tools.
• Follow layout plans to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Work under supervision to complete daily site tasks related to rebar fixing.
• Maintain work safety, use PPE, and adhere to site safety procedures at all times.
• Coordinate with masons, carpenters, and engineers on structural works.

Qualifications:

1. B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering
   with minimum 1 year of relevant experience,

2. Diploma in Civil Engineering
   with minimum 2 years of relevant experience,

3. Grade 12 Pass (10+2)
   with minimum 3 years of experience as a Reinforcement Fitter
   and NSQF Level 4 Certification in relevant trade.

Certificate : TOT Certified in Assistant Bar Bender & Steel Fixer

Industrial Certificate : Experience
