Jobs Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Food Handler to support food safety, hygiene, and quality control operations. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Home Science, or a related field, and possess at least 2 years of relevant experience in the food industry. The Food Handler will be responsible for maintaining safety standards during food preparation, processing, storage, and distribution to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle, prepare, and process food products in accordance with standard operating procedures and hygiene standards.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of food production and handling areas.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining food safety protocols.
- Keep accurate records of food handling, storage temperatures, and cleaning schedules.
- Participate in training and awareness sessions related to food safety and quality.
- Report any issues or deviations from food safety standards to the supervisor.
