We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized GST Assistant to support our finance team in ensuring accurate and timely preparation and filing of Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Indian taxation laws, particularly GST compliance, and will assist in record-keeping, reconciliation, and reporting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).
Maintain and reconcile GST input credit registers.
Verify invoices and ensure correct application of GST.
Reconcile GST liability with books of accounts and payments made.
Assist in responding to GST notices and audits from tax authorities.
Maintain proper records of all tax-related documentation.
Assist with internal and external audits related to GST compliance.
Coordinate with vendors and clients for GST-related queries and data collection.
· Stay updated with changes in GST rules and regulations and advise the finance team accordingly.
Education Level : Bachelor's Degree
Technical Education : N/A
Certificate : TOT certified in GST Assistant
Industrial Certificate : Experience
