The Jam, Jelly, and Ketchup Processing Technician is responsible for the preparation, cooking, blending, and packaging of fruit and vegetable-based products according to established recipes and safety standards. This role ensures product quality, maintains food safety protocols, and supports efficient production operations.
Location - Bhojpur, Buxar.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Prepare raw materials (fruits, vegetables, sugar, spices, etc.) according to production requirements.
2) Operate, monitor, and clean processing equipment including kettles, pasteurizers, homogenizers, and filling lines.
3) Measure and mix ingredients following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch sheets.
4) Cook products to required temperatures and consistencies, monitoring color, flavor, and texture throughout.
5) Adjust recipes or processes as needed to maintain product specifications and quality.
6) Conduct in-process quality control tests such as pH, °Brix (sugar content), and viscosity checks.
7) Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), and health and safety standards.
8) Maintain a clean and organized work environment, participating in sanitation activities.
Education Level : Bachelor's Degree
Technical Education : N/A
Certificate : TOT certified in Jam, Jelly and Ketchup Processing Technician.
Industrial Certificate : Experience
