The Solar Plant Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of utility-scale or commercial solar power systems. This role involves monitoring system performance, conducting inspections, performing routine maintenance, and coordinating with technical teams to ensure optimal plant output and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Monitor solar power plant operations through SCADA systems and performance monitoring software.

2) Conduct routine and non-routine inspections of solar panels, inverters, transformers, and other system components.

3) Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure continuous operation and compliance with safety standards.

4) Diagnose equipment issues, respond to alarms, and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs.

5) Maintain accurate logs, records, and reports related to performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.

6) Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

7) Assist in testing, commissioning, and performance optimization of new or upgraded systems.
