The Fitter Fabricator will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and fitting of metal parts and components for machinery, structural projects, or other metal-based products. This includes reading and interpreting engineering drawings, using a variety of hand and power tools, and ensuring that all parts meet quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Interpret Blueprints and Drawings: Read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine dimensions, material requirements, and assembly procedures.

2) Fabrication of Components: Cut, shape, and weld metal materials (such as steel, aluminum, and other alloys) into parts or components.

3) Fitting and Assembly: Assemble and fit metal components, using hand tools (e.g., hammers, pliers) and power tools (e.g., grinders, saws). Ensure that components are assembled to exact specifications and tolerances.

4) Welding and Joining: Perform welding operations using different welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, or Stick welding, to join parts and ensure strong, durable joints.

5) Machine Operation: Operate fabrication machinery such as press brakes, shears, or cutting machines.
