The Assistant Electrician supports licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Under the guidance of a senior electrician, the role involves assisting with wiring, troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining tools and equipment. This position offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to learn the skills required to become a licensed electrician. An Assistant Electrician must be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and eager to develop their technical knowledge in the electrical field.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Assist in Electrical Installations: Help install electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, lighting, circuit breakers, and electrical panels.

2) Maintenance & Repairs: Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues such as faulty wiring, power outages, and malfunctioning electrical components.

3) Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with local electrical codes and regulations.

4) Tool & Equipment Use: Safely operate and maintain electrical tools and equipment, such as wire cutters, drills, multimeters, and power tools.

5) Blueprint & Technical Support: Aid in reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure proper installations.
